Meet Knox

Knox came to us in the back of a pick up truck. He was a hunting dog, that didn't want to hunt. He picked fights with the beagles, and his owner became frustrated and  

Knox is not the dog that wants to go to breweries, crowded parks, or stroll through busy neighborhoods.

Truthfully… the world scares him.

Rain storms scare him. Loud noises scare him. New environments scare him. Sometimes life itself feels a little too big for him.

But if you let him close enough to trust you? He becomes the softest, clingiest, most loving soul imaginable.

Knox doesn’t want adventures. He wants safety.

He wants a quiet home where he can go from the couch to the backyard and back again. He wants someone who understands that not every dog dreams of public outings and socialization. Some dogs are happiest just being home.

And Knox? Home is his favorite place in the world… as long as he gets to share it with YOU.

He is the type of dog that will crawl under the blankets during thunderstorms and press himself against your chest because he needs to know he’s safe. The type that follows you room to room just to be near you. The type that doesn’t care about toys or fancy things nearly as much as he cares about human comfort and affection.

He wants the couch. The bed. The blankets. Your heart.

But Knox does need one very important thing: 

he must be the ONLY animal in the home. No other dogs. No cats. 

He wants all of the love, attention, and space to himself.

And honestly? For the right person, he will be more than enough.
